He is Risen

He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! " (Matthew 28:6a) Rejoice! He is risen! Happy Resurrection Day, everyone! The empty tomb gives hope to empty lives. Jesus gave His life to give us eternal life and abundant life. God is not dead; He is alive! " I AM the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! " ~Jesus (Revelation 1:18)
Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is the Living God, I AM, not "I was".
" God will credit righteousness--for us who believe in Him Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification ." (Romans 4:24b-25)
Resurrection Day (Easter) is not about a new dress; it's about new birth!
" Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. " (1 Peter 1:3)
